Traders on Untung Jawa Island Enjoy JakWIFI Services

Dozens of traders who open stalls at Taman Arsa, Untung Jawa Island are enjoying JakWIFI services from the Seribu Islands Communications, Information and Statistics Sub-agency (Kominfotik).

Hopefully, internet needs here will be made easier

This free internet facility is provided to support the daily needs of traders in serving shoppers.

Untung Jawa Island Urban Village Head, Sidartawan said his party had proposed accelerating internet services to the Seribu Islands Kominfotik Sub-agency. Currently, JakWIFI is available in four locations in the area.

"Those four locations are in front of the Main Pier, in front of Amiterdam RPTRA, Sakura Beach, and Arsa Park kiosk," he expressed, Wednesday (9/27).

He explained it was very beneficial for residents and tourists. Aside that, students could also use this to support their learning activities and do school assignments.

"This is very helpful in promotions in the current era of digitalization," he explained.

Rohyamah (55), a trader at Arsa Park kiosk, admitted that she was greatly helped by the JakWIFI service. At the location, there were kiosks occupied by 60 traders.

"Hopefully, internet needs here will be made easier," she hoped.
